Fair is fair

More and more America is moving toward an entitlement society, what was once called the middle class is now called the working poor. The working poor are those who once thought they had achieved the American dream, they secured a decent job, got married, had a couple of kids, and bought a home. Little did these people know that the liberal politicians in Washington had little regard for their problems, they were more concerned with developing a voting block of those whose main concern is getting their check on the first of the month. Yonkers, NY is a prime example of what has happened to our society, a big part of Yonkers is fairly expensive private homes, the federal government somehow decided that if you were black and couldn't afford a home in these areas it was discrimination, of course if you were white and couldn't afford a house there it was OK. When the city of Yonkers balked at the federal government ridiculous stance they started to fine Yonkers $1 million a day, Yonkers was forced to build low income housing where these private homes stand. Homeowners in Yonkers pay some of the highest property taxes in the country a good portion of this money goes to the public school system, now here comes the kick in the butt, the people who bought homes in order to give their families a better life now have to send their kids to private schools because the public schools are disarray. Why are the schools in disarray? Simple the building of low income housing and bussing have destroyed the Yonkers school system, and the new working poor are forced to spend $800 per child for private schools even though they are the ones funding the public school system, where is the fairness in that?
